Grey Heron (Ardea cinerea)

An image posted simply because I like the uncluttered composition, the concentration in the bird's eyes and the sense of place – the heron seems very much to belong, its profile echoing those of its silvery fish prey beneath the water.

    Nothing to dislike in that shot. I particularly like the rings in the water where the Heron's foot has gone in and the bird's reflection.
