Grey Squirrel

I know they get something of a bad press, but this grey is the solitary visitor to my garden and I've become very fond of him. He frequently pops over from the neighbouring conifer plantation to steal peanuts from the bird feeders or, as today, to feast on the fruits of the Hawthorn. Sadly I have yet to encounter him on a day offering decent light.

  1. I like the lighting in the first one, you can see how shiny his eyes are. Cute looking pose with the haw in his mouth.

  2. Beautiful Grey Squirrel, I think that they are innocent creatures, they don't even know that there is any thing wrong with them.

  3. Cracking photo of the little blighter (see, my opinion is slightly tainted) looking straight at you. I think I'll have a go at these creatures myself Tim. Oh, I've just had that feeling you get when you're given a photographic idea and realise the opportunity! Thanks mate.
